Hi Dean,

We're always trying to make our themes compatible with other 3rd party modules. Lately there's been an explosion of modules available for activeCollab and keeping up with this is difficult. However, for customers who experience display issues with a module we're happy to have a look and see what can be done to improve the styles so the module is more consistent with the theme.

To do this we would need a login to your AC install (on a test project), and if the module has been well written we can add support to our theme's core, however if not we'll provide you will a list of styles to place in your theme's custom.css file.

I tested the Finder Module (free version) early this year and couldn't get it to work with AC. But from what I hear the Pro version works great, we just haven't seen it first hand. I also know Stas was talking about adding their own custom styles to the module to support Modern, but I'm not sure on the status of that. Please let me know if I can be of any more help! Cheers

We are thinking about purchasing this theme. What happens in the event that their is a module out their your theme has not skinned? For example, we installed Access 1.6 theme a few weeks ago and noticed that the Finder Pro Module: (http://www.activecollab.com/downloads/category/4/package/111) is not supported in you CSS. So when we launch the Active Collabs this particular modular is not rendered correctly. How would you address an instance like this we were to purchase this theme?

Thanks,
Dean

The Modern theme uses a model that allows you to place all custom styles into a <code>custom.css</code> stylesheet. So, if you wanted to change the colours from blue to green, or change the background image, or change the font styles etc. you can do this with by written a few lines of CSS. The best part is that all styles in this file will always survive theme updates.

We're here to help of course and will be happy to further guide you in customizing the Modern theme if you like. Just get in touch via our <a href="/contact-us/" rel="nofollow">contact page</a>.

Hi Guilherme, I've uploaded some more screen shots of Modern. Let me know if there's a specific page you'd like to see and I'll add it to the list.

Re: Upgrades - Yes, Modern 1.1 is now available. Change log will be posted shortly.

Thanks.
