  1. Unfortunately this doesn’t work well on some of our computers, possibly monitor resolution dependent. For all browsers on certain computers, using this theme forces the buttons at the top (and others ) to “hang off” the right side of the background by quite a bit, and forces right-scrolling in order to get to everything (such as the Options and Print buttons on the right). So, totally not usable for us. Too bad, as it looks like it’s probably very nice otherwise.

  2. When was version 1.3 released?. How can I know what version am I using now?.
    Thanks.

    • Access 1.3 was released around mid-December 2009 and currently is still the latest release.

Your version of Access can be found in the top area of this CSS file if you open:

      /public/assets/themes/Access/theme.css

  3. I have been using this theme for a while now, it’s better than the default theme.

I did notice that some buttons are not displayed correctly, like the buttons for tickets.

    • Hi Michiel – Can you let me know which activeCollab and Access theme versions you’re using? Also, which browser/s are you using and a screen shot would also be helpful if possible.

My guess is that you’re using an older version of activeCollab with the newer Access theme, or vice versa. (There were some button issues around AC 2.2.2 and Access 1.1 – read more here.)

      Thanks, Leon.

  4. The header background doesn’t seem to be appearing correctly when using iPhone or iPad. Can you check on this and offer a solution? A client brought this to my attention and I want the site to look as professional as possible.

PS looking forward to additional themes so I can buy a membership

    Thank you for your help.

  5. I’m noticing an odd webkit/safari related issue. When a file is attached, the block of attachments that float below the comment are not the right width, and off in alignment by 1px.

    Here’s a screenshot: http://drp.ly/V09e3

Looks great though in Firefox. Great work!

I understand this is a free product, and as such may not receive as much attention, but I just wanted to bring it to your attention.

    Thanks again!

    Chris

    Hi,
Just upgraded from the 1.0beta to 1.3. Amazing changes! Well done. It’s really nice to see the evolution!

    Thanks Leon!

  7. Love your theme, congrats!
Just a comment regarding the flow of the comments

I believe the comments flow should be this way:
    First: The most recent comment
    Second: The new comment form
Third: The previous comments (the most recent one at the top and the oldest one at the bottom).

    Hope you can fix this.
    Greetings from Mexico.

  8. Hi everyone,

Just wanted to post a quick comment that we are officially moving the Access theme under our new Members Area umbrella. Don’t worry, it’s still free and we will keep updating it with future ActiveCollab versions ;)

By moving the Access theme into our Members Area we can better update and support the theme. I hope this isn’t of much inconvenience for most users.

Thank you for all of the comments and support in keeping this theme going :)

    Cheers, Leon.

  9. Hi,

Thanks for your work on this great theme! We’re running it for quit a while now. Today we upgraded to AC 2.3 and Access 1.2 and i noticed that for Internet Explorer 7, the login-button isn’t transparent anymore. It looks fine in FF 3.+ Any idea where to look at / how to fix this?

    Thanks in advance! Greetz

    • Hi Erwin, thanks for the feedback and bug report :)

I haven’t worked out what’s causing it yet, but I can confirm that it does exist like you say. At the moment, it seems to be an IE7 only issue as it dosen’t happen in IE8. I’ll look into a solution for this asap.

      Cheers

  10. Hey Leon — While we’re chatting, I saw someone posted updates to the MarkOS ticket hacks, we’re finding a need for this functionality… I was trying to get an idea if Access already supports this… I know you mentioned in a previous release you didn’t have time to address it. Thanks! http://www.activecollab.com/forums/post/22416/#post22416

  11. Hi,

I’m using ActiveColab 2.1.4 with Access 1.1. I think this theme is great. However, there seems to be something wrong with css of the submit buttons. So far I’ve checked them in IE 7, FF 3.5 and Safari 4.

You can check it out on our login page:
    http://projects.firmaq.nl/

Any chance that this is going to be fixed in the near future?

    Kind regards,

    Sybrand Hoeksma
    The Netherlands

    • Hi Sybrand – Yes you’re correct. Since AC 2.1.4+ there’s been an update to the button markup. To fix, ADD the following line to the Access/theme.css file:

      #auth_dialog button span span, button span span {background:none;padding:0;}

This fix will be included in the next release.

  12. Hey Leon,

Remember in the early version of Access the different types of communication had the little color label indicating if it was a “ticket” “task” etc — would it be difficult to bring that back as an option in the admin area or alternative version of the new AC?

I’ve been missing those, it made following the recent activity a lot easier to view — I was thinking about tweaking my ACcess install to do it but since you’re the master I thought maybe you’d have a quick solution.

    Thanks!
