The Brisbane Chinatown Mall was officially re-opened yesterday, Sunday 14th February 2010 just in time for the year of the Tiger with Lord Mayor of Brisbane Campbell Newman centre stage for the launch.

For some time now Brisbane’s Chinatown Mall has been under going a major facelift. With only a few days until the mall is officially reopened I was lucky enough to be passing by to see some of the light sequences during testing on the new Street Gate entrance.

The following film is pretty crazy. Imagine being able to resize images without actually changing the size of the content within the image image? It’s extremely cleaver stuff that seems to be still in development, but without doubt this is something to keep an eye on in the future.
