Adobe Online Creative Festival 2008

Adobe Online Creative Festival 2008

Yesterday, for the first time ever, Adobe Pacific launched a new free online event called Adobe Online Creative Festival. If you like creative inspiration, communication and (free!) online education, then I suggest you make space in your calendar for this one.

It takes place between 11am – 4pm Australian EST on Tuesday 1st July 2008 (Registration is required – Sign up via the Box Office) and will consist of 6 main “tents” were you can:

  • Website Design of Adobe Online Creative Festival 2008
  • Adobe Live
Live customer presentations. Real time interaction with speakers.
  • Adobe Master Class
Live presentations from Adobe experts. Real time interaction with speakers.
  • Tips & Tricks
    40 x 4 minute pre-recorded tips on Creative Suite 3 software.
  • Merchandise
the showbag area full of great offers and show specials.
  • Gallery
A place to check out some great work by fellow creatives to inspire and delight.
  • Chill Out Zone
A chat room where people can engage with Adobe experts and other festival goers.

I’d also like to mentioned the the website design on this site – a fine example of beautiful, top shelf quality flash work (which I guess is always expected from anything Adobe related). I would love to know who the designer/team was behind it. If you know please post in the comments.

Update 2 July 2008: An Adobe rep has mentioned that all of the sessions were recorded and will be available on the Adobe Creative Online Festival site in two weeks time (14th July 2008).
