Yesterday, for the first time ever, Adobe Pacific launched a new free online event called Adobe Online Creative Festival. If you like creative inspiration, communication and (free!) online education, then I suggest you make space in your calendar for this one.
It takes place between 11am – 4pm Australian EST on Tuesday 1st July 2008 (Registration is required – Sign up via the Box Office) and will consist of 6 main “tents” were you can:

- Adobe Live Live customer presentations. Real time interaction with speakers.
- Adobe Master Class Live presentations from Adobe experts. Real time interaction with speakers.
- Tips & Tricks 40 x 4 minute pre-recorded tips on Creative Suite 3 software.
- Merchandise the showbag area full of great offers and show specials.
- Gallery A place to check out some great work by fellow creatives to inspire and delight.
- Chill Out Zone A chat room where people can engage with Adobe experts and other festival goers.
Update 2 July 2008: An Adobe rep has mentioned that all of the sessions were recorded and will be available on the Adobe Creative Online Festival site in two weeks time (14th July 2008).

The Creative Festival team are based out of Interactive Cyberbia in North Sydney – I’m not sure if they did the design, but the certainly did the development of the first festival and the subsequent ones. http://www.cyberbia.com.au
